Luke traces Saul's first ministry in Damascus and Jerusalem through three repeating cycles: faithful ministry, fierce opposition, and divine deliverance. Saul doesn't wait for a title or permission to serve, and neither should we. When opposition comes, we examine it, keep our eyes on the mission, and gird our loins alongside God's people.
