How it all started...
We began as a group of Christians who shared a desire for the gospel to be proclaimed. There was a need to plant a local church, to serve our local community and reach out to the Ukrainian population in Northeast Ohio. In 2010, 16 people signed on for charter membership and leased a storefront where weekly services were held in English and Ukrainian languages.
Expanding the vision...
By God’s grace we have been sustained and growing for over a decade. We are blessed with members who are faithfully serving each other and serving our community. The needs of the members and of the community are ever before us. Yet, we stand in his promises and are convinced that he will finish the work he began in us and lead us to live lives that treasure Christ over everything else.
Where we are headed...
The vision of Mercy Hill Chapel is to be a powerful, community of worship. We are committed to powerfully represent Jesus Christ and share his gospel. We long for the Lord to use us to make disciples where we are in Parma and where we may be in the future through missions, church partnerships, and church planting.
